Hidden: A Gender explores the methods by which binary concepts of gender have been embedded into western collective and the effect of this upon gender-variant persons historically. Examining misinformation in sources from medicine to marketing, Bornstein picks away at the constructs that perpetuate gendered behavior in an attempt to not simply bend gender, but to break it.
